The Telos 100 Delta
is our premiere POTS telephone interface, designed for mission-critical
applications where quality audio and 24-hour reliability are paramount. Using advanced digital signal processing
techniques,
the 100 Delta produces the most natural sounding, two-way conversation even
on the most difficult telephone lines. (See the "Q&A - Analog
Systems" discussion in our Tech Talk section for more about this.)
Consistent output level, improved tonal quality and superior trans-hybrid loss for full-duplex
audio are hallmarks of the Telos
100 Delta. Smart digital gain control and Digital Dynamic Equalization (DDEQ
) offer the highest level of caller intelligibility. In addition,
callers can be monitored through open speakers without feedback. In
short: the 100 Delta, with its wide range of user-adjustable settings,
allows you to tailor the sound of your calls and get better caller-to-caller
audio than ever before—in situations where it counts the most. Check out
these features:
-
Advanced auto-nulling digital hybrid has excellent send audio
rejection and produces very pure caller audio. Trans-hybrid
loss typically exceeds 50dB. The Telos 100 Delta automatically adapts to
each new call.
-
DDEQ Digital Dynamic Equalization improves the tonal quality of
caller audio by automatically correcting spectral degradation. This
revolutionary technology, pioneered by Telos, results in more accurate
and intelligible caller audio.
-
Digital Logarithmic Automatic Gain Control (dB
linear AGC) for
consistent operation over a greater dynamic range. This is a significant
improvement over linear gain control schemes, as call levels presented
to the hybrid may vary as much as 30dB.
-
Extremely smart and fast context-sensitive output AGC. Processing is
only as dense as required for consistent caller levels. This section is
cross-coupled to the input section so that telephone line noise and
residual hybrid leakage are carefully and cleanly attenuated without
low-level callers being gated off.
-
Two duplex-depth settings can be established and remotely
selected. Duplex-depth is adjustable on both controls from full-duplex
(no ducking) to half-duplex (switching). This allows remote switching
from a "live" setup to one where calls will be recorded prior
to airing.
-
Digital Echo Elimination,
Telos' proprietary two-stage feedback
suppression system. The 100 Delta allows significant
gain-before-feedback when monitoring callers through open monitor
speakers.
-
High- and low-pass filtering to clean up phone line noise and hum.
